“The One-Trick Pony” - He barks, he pants, he makes bizarre noises, he rolls around frantically on the floors, walls and ceiling—it’s Walter the Zompea!

Always begging like a wild hyena and following anyone he can like a lost puppy, Walter will perform any trick for a clod of dirt. Too bad those tricks usually get him into a world of trouble… but it never seems to bother him!

“The Evil Genius” - “For what you’re about to read next you must enter the realm of Genius!” Doctor Mendel’s ‘genius’ can’t be understood by those that don’t know how much fun it is to make a yodeling rotten cheeseburger monster…so don’t feel left out.

As soon as this pea popped out of the pod he was…a bit odd. He was a strange to them as a pair of clean socks, and they were just plain worried about the kind of “fun” he liked to have. So feeling like his genius was unwanted and unappreciated, Dr. Mendel exiled himself to the depths of Peaopolis…after shaking his fist and swearing revenge.

Beneath the Junkyard where all the gooey muck and toxic slime dribbles down—Doctor Mendel created his ghastly green glowing secret lair where he engineered his own brand of Peas, a like-minded race that could appreciate the kind of “fun” he liked to have. And so were born

…The Zompeas!

The extremely over-complicated creations that Doctor Mendel engineers by hunting through the toxic refuge of the Junkyard depths is always a twisted parody of something the Pack of Peas are doing above ground. He does this in the hopes that they will see him as the Alpha Pea! Unfortunately those creations only succeed in creating chaos that all the Peas have to ban together to stop!

Doctor Mendel tries to make life fun for his Zompeas by designing his lair like one huge theme park! He feels bad for the Peaons and how they have to live with the unappreciative V.I.Peas. He believes he can relate to their situation and has declared that it’s his sole duty as the saint that he surely is—to have his Zompeas capture them and mutate them into his friends.

Catchphrase:   “For what we are about to do next, we must enter the realm of…GENIUS!” (Electricity crackles and he laughs maniacally). 

“The Little Pea-ple” - Living inside of the Pea Tree Clubhouse in the center of Peaopolis, these child-like Peas may all look and act the same and have no name but they’ll soon grow to be V.I.Peas and know what it means to be unique! These little Peas have big imaginations and even bigger love of adventure!

Because these curious little green thinking machines are such a prize to Dr. Mendel, the jealous and mischievous Zompeas love causing trouble for them any chance they get!

Catchphrase:  “Who me?”

“The Whistlin’ Wackadoodle” -  You’ll always see a smile on this wacky little guy! Happea is an innocent and goofy little pod that loves following his twin sister Sweet Pea around and joining in whatever mischief she might be getting into.

If there’s one thing this Pea loves more than his twin sister — it’s noise! Happea is a real instrument himself! With a front-tooth gap that whistles when he talks, this Pea is in harmony! Happea is always creating new silly sound effects—like when he mimics the horn of trumpets as the soundtrack to his sister entering the room in her princess gown.

Root Juice has a gassy effect on the constantly giggling Happea! He loves to wet his whistle and rocket himself across the sky with a cheeky cannonball toot! Nicknamed: The News Caster Blaster by Chickpea — she uses him to toot and shoot across the Peaopolis sky to spread her news banners!

Catchphrase: “ Weeeeeee!!!  or Yippppeeeeaaaa!!!”

“The Not-so-bad Boy” -  With a confident smirk, leaning against his trusty Popstick Skate Deck, the smooth-talking Pea G knows it’ll all work out, even when one of Mendel’s giant robots is spewing muck all over Peaopolis.

Sometimes Pea G’s honey-sweet reactions to sticky situations make the other Peas a little salty, but he’s always ready – maybe too ready — to leap without looking and help save his fellow Peas.

In his homegrown sports park, The Backyard, Pea G keeps the Peaons physically fit with sports games and personal trials that always seem to help them with something they’ve been struggling with.

Hangout:  The Backyard (Sport park/Skatepark)

Catchphrase: “It’ll all work out!”

“The Tough Guy (with a heart of gold)” - This powerful Pea is a heavy-lifter with a heart of gold under that grumpy green scowl. He’s the one Pea that can tackle the big jobs in Peaopolis — and every job is big when you’re the size of a Pea! He may grumble but Grumpea is a real softy…once you get to know him!

 Everyone loves Grumpea and it’s not hard to see why. Grumpea helps each and every Pea. He is also the craftsman of some of the cutest and most adorable creations in Peaopolis! He may have a tough shell but once he sticks his neck out it’s easy to see that this Pea just has a hard time showing how pleasant he can be.

“The Beauty & The Brains” - Reporting live with special guests and rising Peaons! Brought to you via podcast across Peaopolis it’s “Trash Talk” with your favorite host — Chick Pea!

There are a lot of brains behind these beautiful blue eyes! The ever-inquisitive Chick Pea investigates breaking news with her companions: her best friend Scrappea and her spy Lady the Bug. When she’s on the trail of a story—Chick Pea cannot be pulled away from getting to the bottom of it! Even if that means going into the heart of danger and confronting Dr. Mendel or his Zompeas!

She’s half classy, half sassy! Chick Pea is never afraid to put her glamour aside and get messy for an inside scoop.

Although she spends most of her time covering the new stories around Peaopolis—Chick Pea knows how to sit back and relax with Scrappea and some chilled Root Juice!

Catchphrase:  “Oh, PEAS!”

“The Battling Brothers” - These connected twins are a slapstick duo, rarely working as a team to get anything done! Every day Split Pea comes up with a new plan to become famous in Peaopolis — but plans don’t always work out so well when you’re at odds with yourself.

When he’s not tongue-yanking and eye-poking his brother, Pete devises plans to gain fame. However this just leads to more yanked tongues and poked eyes…

Repeat tries hard not to become too excited when one of Pete’s plans of fame is about to happen…but he just can’t help himself! Like a shaken soda can—Repeat is ready to burst!

Poor Pete just can’t get a break. There was a time that he tried to literally get a break but Peabrain said that if they ever tried to separate they might become triplets… and 2 is more than enough!

“The Builder”  - Scrappea isn’t messy—she’s very, very organized…in a very, very messy way. Tell that to any other Pea when they see this treasure hunter’s massive hodgepodge Scrap Yard and they’ll say: “Yep, Scrappea always knows what I want and where to find it! But I’d have absolutely no clue where to start…”

Cute and squirrely with a love for nuts and bolts! Anything that makes an engine purr really gets Scrappea’s motor racing towards her next project for her huge garage of toy cars. Now don’t underestimate this Pea’s size because she’s got major turbo boost!

With her best friend Chick Pea usually on the trail of a hot story in Peaopolis, Scrappea is always ready to supply her BFF with some new slick gadgets to get the job done!

Catchphrase: “Will do!”

“The Philosomophizer” - Karate chopping onion grass without a tear shed is the mystical master of Kung Fu Cuisine— Wasapea!

He may not always satisfy a Pea’s questions with his mystical and complicated answers but he does satisfy a Pea’s pod belly when they visit his Pea-Bachi Grill! Wildflower Wrap, Sneezeweed Sushi, Dirt Sundaes and Rare Root Flambe’ are just some of the treats on his menu!

Climbing his mountain of philosophical advice might make a Pea wise beyond their years…or take them years to figure out…

Wasapea can usually be found meditating by and tending to the bonsai trees that dot Peaopolis. Somehow when he’s sought-after he already seems to be mysteriously expecting those who come to visit him and knows what it is they are seeking.    

Hangout: The Pea-Bachi Grill

Catchphrase: “Better a Peaon with a flaw than one without.” “Become the trash you seek. For does not the trash soar like a bird, yet remain grounded like the legume? It wants not. Yet it desires much. This is your path. Also I am hungry.”

“The Artist” - Peacasso is a multi-colored personality—frolicking and flinging his colors throughout Peaopolis! With strange energy and giggles that literally brighten the life of everyone around him, Peacasso canvas is the whole island!

He’s the liveliest and most energetic Pea in the bunch who loves turning anything into colorful art — and he never takes a break!

Extremely quirky and driven by an endless reserve of ideas, he can sometimes be an little too ‘out there’ for the other Peas—like his giant lint sculpture of a belly button. Ew.

Catchphrase:  “Super FUNtastic!!!”

“The Tiny Terror” -  The most unpredictable and devious Zompea! Dennis attacks everything and wreaks havoc wherever he goes! It’s a good thing this ankle-biter is so incredibly tiny or he might actually do some damage!

Usually screaming wildly in hooping howls and slimy snorts at the top of his lungs, this tiny little  jibber-jabberer just sounds like a cassette tape on fast forward.

Be prepared to use your sleeve to blow your nose if Dennis is around. No tissue or soft and fragile thing is safe from this Zompea! While huffing and heaving he will destroy it with every teaspoon of energy he has!

“The Shape-shifter” - By extending his upper half and rotating it; this halved Zompea connected by a stretchy stalk can then release his bottom half and drill right into the ground! Why would he do this? Because although Larp might be a frightful sight; he’s actually a huge coward and is quick to use his talents to find a good hiding place where he can wait out the danger.

The Zompeas bend and twist Larp—stretching him beyond his limits! Using him as a sling shot, battering ram and however else they can bend him to their will!

“The Gloomy Gus” -  Usually the glummy Gloop doesn’t want to do anything except mope but when this shape shifting, sticky, stretchy gloobidy-glob wants to, he can handle any and all dangers –he’s completely indestructible! Not that the little slime-muffin would ever want to be put through any danger… after all — danger makes Gloop glum.
